To be able to use TOPs, the designee of the dealership will need to complete the online TOPs contract and set up application. This also requires the dealer to already have their master tags, since set up does require an active dealer customer number from the DOR.
You will have the option to submit payment information for your first order when completing the contract OR you can select “Prepaid Account – Mailed Check” if:
- If you would like to place an order at a later time
- If you would like to pick up your order in person
- If you are mailing a check as payment
The GIADA office, located in Austell GA, is the designated pick up location for used car dealers if you do not want to have them shipped. Going forward, to have an order shipped to you, you will login to your account to place orders for shipment and add funds to your escrow account.
Contracts are converted into accounts on business day mornings, please allot 1 business day to receive your login information via the email included in the account information on your contract.
Tips when completing your online application:
- Dealer shipping address must be the address shown on the dealer’s license. If another address is entered, it will be changed during account setup. GIADA cannot ship to any address other than the one shown on the used car dealer license. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the way your license reads in regards to TOPs shipments, please call the GIADA office 770-745-9650.
- TOPs come in sets of 10 – the minimum number you can order is 10
- Shipments cannot be processed without sufficient funds on the account. New application orders will not be placed without a corresponding credit card authorization form. Note: future orders are automatically cancelled if sufficient funds are not available in the escrow account.
- Pricing is as follows: $4 per sticker, plus tax. Then you should calculate that there is a $4 per transaction processing fee. Plus shipping. Unfortunately, shipping cannot be exactly calculated until an order is placed on your account once set up is complete. For example: we would advise someone to authorize $95 to cover the cost of stickers, tax, shipping, and processing for an order of 10. Any funds not used stay available on the escrow account for future use.
