There are plenty of great reasons to become a member of GIADA. The used car business is ever changing and evolving in standards and laws. Dealer membership is $250 annually. We will be happy to discuss the details and benefits of becoming a GIADA dealer member. There is not another association that works harder than we do to provide information, education, and training to keep you compliant. - Application Process: After you’ve completed the Pre-License Seminar and receive your certificate – you may be wondering what comes next. Our dealer consultants are specifically trained to help you put together the pieces to efficiently – and most importantly, correctly! – complete your application for a used car dealer license. During normal business hours, you will have unlimited access to our capable dealer consultants and you will receive an easy to follow checklist of all the items needed to obtain your used car dealer license. We offer appointments for phone consultations as well as in person visits to discuss and complete your application. You can also receive assistance via email. No matter which method you prefer, we urge you to send your application to our office for final review to ensure it is complete and correct before being submitted to the state.
- Educated Answers & Assistance: No matter how long you’ve been in business, there will eventually come a time when you have a question or need help with a special situation. Whether it’s completing paperwork, questions about compliance, special case by case scenarios, or knowing when it’s time to get a lawyer involved to stay protected – we are here to help you resolve your car business concerns. Employees of GIADA each specialize in a specific aspect of our day to day operations while additionally being prepared to problem solve and give advice based on the letter of the law in regards to being a used car dealer. - GIADA & NIADA Magazine: Independent Auto Dealer is our bi-monthly magazine. Members receive a copy every other month. Since GIADA membership automatically makes you a member of NIADA as well, you will receive a copy of their magazine, Used Car Dealer, each month! Each publication is filled with news relevant to our business and highlights current topics.
- Service Provider Directory: GIADA has a wealth of connections with vendors specific to the used car industry. Our Service Provider Directory is packed full of companies that have an array of products and services intended to benefit your business. Additionally, we keep our Auction Provider Directory current with locations, schedules and contact information.
- Vendor & Auction Discounts: Our associate members often provide special discounts exclusive to GIADA members. From buy fees at auctions to discounts on insurance and hedge fees, there is plenty of money to be saved just by being a member of the largest independent auto dealer association in the country!
- Membership Packets: When you join membership with GIADA, you will receive a welcome packet. Each packet contains informational flyers, a dealer code of ethics, information on the Auction Coupon app and a window sticker which will announce to your customers that you are a part of an association that encourages you to adhere to a higher standard.
